There is still not Satellite Cafeteria upstairs.  Please come to the Main Cafeteria to purchase your snack.  On another note, the Cafeteria will be serving Easter Dinner (Turkey and all the fixins) on Wednesday, April 17th.  $7.25 tickets will be on sale from April 1 – April 12 near the Moo Crew table.  No other meals will be served that day, so if you aren’t buying you bring your own lunch.  This meal will NOT be sold online.  Tickets will also be sold ONLY on Thursday, April 4th (Parent/Teacher) night in the Lobby.

Do you like to win cash? Do you want to win a new bike? The QMS Home & School group is launching a fundraiser to help finish the Outdoor Classroom. Staff and students will be selling tickets to win a Trek bicycle valued at over $500. Letters will be going home today (in teacher’s mailboxes) explaining the ticket sales but you need to know that there will be incentives along the way. Each ticket sold will request the seller’s name – that’s you!  Beginning next week there will be draws each Monday, Wednesday and Friday for students who have returned ticket stubs, these daily prizes will be $5. The winning ticket will be drawn on April 18th and the seller of the winning ticket will receive $25. The more tickets you buy/sell the better your chances of winning the bike, the daily $5 draws and the seller’s $25 prize!

What’s your Heritage?  Are you French, German, Italian, Chinese or even Dutch?  On April 2nd we’re having a Heritage Day!  Dress up as a part of your heritage or culture.  You would wear a cultured shirt, pants, or bracelets or other things that represent your culture.

‘The Art of Giving’ Project
The Grade 6 classes will be hosting an ‘Artists’ Market’ this Thursday evening and Friday morning during Parent-Teacher Conferences.  All money raised will be going to charitable causes.  Artistic works that will be for sale include bookmarks, locker magnets, notecards and framed, original works.  Prices range from $2-$7.
Please stop by the Cafeteria to peruse our artistic creations and help us support good works in our community and beyond!
